Gearbox oil replacement might take 3060 minutes, and will save you $30$50 depends on the region you live in.

To replace oil in gearbox onin 2013 BMW X5 first locate refill and drain plugs on the gearbox body. Unscrew the refill plug first and then the drain plug. Use a spanner or a retched with the correct size head to do the job. When all oil came out screw the drain plug back with a new gasket. Refill the gearbox with new oil and screw the refill plug back.
