External Sites

This site may contain links to other sites that are owned and operated by third party vendors and others. You acknowledge that garage.wiki is not responsible for the availability, content, text, graphics, information, or any actions or damages from any external site. You must contact the site administrator for those sites if you have any concerns regarding those links.

Termination of Access

In addition to any other legal or equitable remedies for misuse, garage.wiki may, without prior notice to you, immediately terminate the Agreement or revoke any or all of your rights granted under this Agreement. Upon any termination of this Agreement, you shall immediately cease all access to and use of the Site and garage.wiki shall, in addition to any other legal or equitable remedies, immediately revoke all password(s) and account identification issued to you and deny your access to and use of this Site in whole or in part. Any termination of this Agreement shall not affect the respective rights and obligations (including without limitation, payment obligations) of the parties arising before the date of termination.

Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions embody the entire agreement and understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings relating to the subject matter hereof.

Severability

If any these provisions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed several and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provision.

Survival

Any provision of these Terms and Conditions that, by its nature, is applicable to circumstances arising after the termination of these Terms and Conditions will survive such termination and remain in full force and effect, and no termination of these Terms and Conditions will relieve either party from any liability arising out of any breach of these Terms and Conditions occurring prior to said termination.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless garage.wiki and its affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, costs, and expenses, including without limitation, attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to your use of the Site or the Products.

No right or remedy of garage.wiki shall be exclusive of any other, whether at law or in equity, including without limitation, damages, injunctive relief, attorneys’ fees, and expenses. No waiver by garage.wiki of its rights or remedies under these Terms and Conditions shall imply any obligation to grant any similar, future, or other waiver.

Information we collect

Short version

  • We use cookies in our login mechanism. You won't be able to login on garage.wiki without cookies, but you can use garage.wiki as a guest without any limitations.
  • If you sign up with us we take great care to keep your information safe and we’ll never share it with others without your express permission.
  • We never share your data with 3rd parties except to help us deliver our own services.
  • We collect anonymous statistics about your visit, like which of our pages you viewed.
  • Some 3rd parties like Facebook and Twitter may know you visited this website, if you use their services. We can’t control them but we don’t believe this knowledge poses any threat to you.
  • We use Google AdSense to serve ads on garage.wiki. Google uses cookies and similar technologies to deliver relevant ads.

Cookies and similar technologies

Garage.wiki uses cookies and similar technologies, such as HTML5 web storage and local shared objects (all referred to as “cookies” below), to record the preferences of users.

By using our website, you consent to the use and storage of cookies on your end device. However, you can also view our website without cookies, but you won't be able to login into your account on garage.wiki in this case.

Most browsers accept cookies automatically. You can prevent cookies from being saved on your end device by setting your browser to not accept cookies. You can delete cookies stored on your end device at any time. The exact instructions for how to do this can be found in the manual for your browser or end device.

Measuring our visitors

We measure visitors to our website using Google Analytics. This records what pages you view within our site, how you arrived at our site and some basic information about your computer. All of that information is anonymous — so we don’t know who you are; just that somebody visited our site.

The information we collect from analytics helps us understand what parts of our sites are doing well, how people arrive at our site and so on. Like most websites, we use this information to make our website better.

You can learn more about Google Analytics or opt out if you wish.

Facebook, Twitter and other social networks

These services provide social buttons and similar features which we use on our website — such as the “Like” and “Tweet” buttons.

To do so we embed code that they provide and we do not control ourselves. To function their buttons generally know if you’re logged in; for example Facebook use this to say “x of your friends like this”. We do not have any access to that information, nor can we control how those networks use it.

Social networks therefore could know that you’re viewing this website, if you use their services (that isn’t to say they do, but their policies may change). As our website is remarkably inoffensive we imagine this is not a concern for most users.

Ads

We use Google AdSense to serve ads on garage.wiki. Google uses cookies and similar technologies to deliver relevant ads. Google also shares some of data with other ad technology providers.

To learn more about Google AdSense and opt your data out please visit these pages: Google ad and content network privacy policy and how Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Contact us

For further information or to contact us with questions, concerns, or comments, you may email us at mail@garage.wiki. Although garage.wiki will, in most circumstances, be able to receive your email or other information provided through the Site, garage.wiki does not guarantee that it will receive all such email or other information timely and accurately.
