Volkswagen Golf Hatchback Second generation first facelift

In August 1987 Volkswagen offered a facelifted Golf Hatchback Second generation first facelift (also known as Mk II, Mk 2) based on Volkswagen A2 with internal naming Type 19E, Type 1G1 which stayed unchanging after facelift. Golf Hatchback Second generation first facelift was available in Europe and Mexico.

Volkswagen offered various engines for Golf Hatchback Second generation first facelift including 127 HP, 137 HP, 54 HP, 54 HP, 68 HP, 68 HP at 4500 RPM, 133 N⋅m at 2600 RPM, 79 HP, 79 HP, and 59 HP at 4500 RPM, 110 N⋅m at 2400 RPM.
