2004 Toyota Land Cruiser Ninth generation facelift Gearbox Oil Capacity

For 2004 Land Cruiser Ninth generation facelift Toyota recommends to use: API GL-4, SAE 75W-90, and API GL-5 transmission oils. To select the right transmission oil see the table below.

To replace oil in gearbox onin 2004 Toyota Land Cruiser first locate refill and drain plugs on the gearbox body. Unscrew the refill plug first and then the drain plug. Use a spanner or a retched with the correct size head to do the job. When all oil came out screw the drain plug back with a new gasket. Refill the gearbox with new oil and screw the refill plug back.
