In September 2008 BMW offered a facelifted 3 Series Touring Fourth generation LCI (also known as fourth generation facelift) with internal naming E91 which stayed unchanging after facelift.

BMW offered various engines for 3 Series Touring Fourth generation LCI including 121 HP, 134 HP, 154 HP, 168 HP, 121 HP, 127 HP, 148 HP, 148 HP, 148 HP, 228 HP, 194 HP, 201 HP, 208 HP, 282 HP at 4000 RPM, 560 N⋅m at 2000 RPM, and 188 HP.
